At Patrick Day Home Gallery, we’ve had the opportunity to transform lots of bathrooms from adding fresh wallpaper to remodeling the whole room with new vanities, art, the works! Today we’re highlighting a few of our favorite bathroom design projects we’ve had the privilege of working on to provide inspiration for your next home project.

Just because a bathroom is a smaller room, that doesn’t mean it can’t have some character and personality. One of the best design choices you can make for a bathroom is using a fun wallpaper or paint color. This will brighten up the bathroom, especially if there isn’t a window, and make the space feel purposefully decorated. The walls are the most noticeable thing in any room so they’re the perfect way to showcase the aesthetic you’re hoping to evoke through design.









Another super influential factor in design is lighting. Why not have a gorgeous chandelier or sconces in the bathroom? Again, just because it is a smaller space, doesn’t mean you can’t showcase your style. Unique light fixtures can make all the difference between what makes a bathroom simple and what makes a bathroom glamorous. If you're looking for something chic, try crystals or chrome details. If you’re looking for something coastal, try rattan or grasscloth.







A bathroom redesign doesn’t have to mean starting completely from scratch. For example, you can absolutely keep your current vanity and paint it a new color for a refreshed look. Adding in new artwork or a mirror can help revamp your bathroom with minimal changes. Just like the rest of your home, every room should be a combination of your personal taste and thoughtful design, and the bathroom is no exception.
