Did you know that Patrick Day Home Gallery started as an art gallery and custom framing business? To this day, we still offer custom framing. Clients bring in their own artwork, objects, certificates and more to get framed and we guide them through the whole process from start to finish. Over the years Patrick Day Home Gallery has evolved into an eclectic showroom of furniture, art and decor as well as offering interior design services. Let’s take a look at the framing process and some of the wonderful options we have available.


When you bring something in to get custom framed, our goal is to find the perfect framing solution that will enhance your piece. In this process, a unique framing combination will be created for your artwork. To accomplish this you will be guided in the selection of a frame, matting, color, and style that best compliment your artwork. Our showroom offers lots of visuals so that you can compare different frame styles and colors to see which options work best for your piece.

The Process


Step One:

Call and make an appointment for framing to make sure our framing expert is available for you. Have the art piece you plan to get framed ready and available so that dimensions can be referenced and framing options can be suggested upon seeing the actual piece. Our framing expert can assist you in style selection and provide their professional feedback.


Step Two:

Making your selections. Choose from our wide range of frame styles including traditional, contemporary, and much more. Which size and tone of frame is best - gold, silver, champagne, a color or natural wood. You’ll also select a complimentary matting that will tie the whole piece together.


Step Three:

Once selections have been made, the custom framing process can take around two to three weeks for completion. The frames are created by skilled craftsmen who custom build the frame to perfectly fit your artwork. Once the custom frame has been constructed and the matting is cut, your artwork is ready and your piece will be available for pickup at our showroom.
